In the first program, when China is invaded by the Huns, Mulan decides that she must disguise herself as male soldier to fight in place of her ill father, who has been called up for war. In the second program, after saving her nation from the evil Huns, the spirited Mulan gets the surprise of her life when General Shang asks for her hand in marriage. Before the wedding, however, Mulan and Shang must complete a dangerous mission by escorting three princesses to a distant city.
